Di dalam usaha untuk sentiasa melangkah ke hadapan, UPM telah mempercepatkan usaha pemindahan teknologi yang akan memberikan keuntungan kepada industri / syarikat tempatan.

Ini akan dapat mengurangkan penggantungan industri/syarikat terhadap teknologi luar/asing yang berkos tinggi.

Semua urusan yang berkaitan dengan pengkomersilan hasil penyelidikan antara penyelidik UPM dengan mana-mana pihak industri / syarikat perlu berhubung dengan Pegawai Eksekutif (Pengkomersilan),  PSP.

Perbincangan lanjut, penerangan penyelidikan daripada pakar, perundingan akan diadakan bagi mencapai kepentingan kedua-dua pihak UPM dan Industri.
